- Jessica Deotto -
Jessica's 'Milk and honey' concept is well explored, particularly with the textures she's chosen to use to help convey her well balanced concept board. /LS

- Nicole Dempster -
Nicole has successfully chosen appropriate elements, format and layout on her board then used her concept board as a visual tool to convey her design intent which is a fresh, balanced and harmonious scheme connecting the outdoors and in keeping with the design brief. /LS

- Claire Green: First submission -
- Claire Green: Resubmission -
Claire has gone through a magnificent transformation.  She's worked through her ideas from her first submission to her resubmission which is a more conceptual response to the brief. Exciting and very encouraging to see her progress which we're happy to share with you all! /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Phillip Darwen -
Phillip has demonstrated a very soft natural colour palette with textures and forms to match. He has found and made the subtle connection between the indoors and outdoors with his design ideas. /LS

- Bobbie Bayley -
Bobbie has presented a dynamic extremely well laid out concept board with a positively impressive description to support the design intent: ''a seemingly neutral pallet with a minimalist feel decorated with unique, dynamic pieces of furniture, accents of vibrant colour and texture, innovative storage and display ideas and elements both inside and outside that reflect and compliment one another.' /LS

- Kate Trimboli -

With Kate's clever theatrical theme, she has managed to convey a connection between indoors and outdoors all the while working in harmony with the natural elements creating a warm and inviting balance which she envisages for the space.

- Leanne Loveday -
Leanne has visually created an extremely well balanced and connected board in terms of layout, design concept whilst also being sympathetic to the design brief given her neutral tones and warm earthy colour accents. /LS

- Raychel Purnell -

Fabulous hero image clearly capturing the clean, sleek lines, creating direction for the eyes and movement throughout the space. The softness and curvaceous and variety of textures Raychel was hoping to showcase were echoed in some of her material choices - well chosen. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Vanessa Calkin -
Vanessa has presented a very serene design concept full of subtle elements but by no means subtle in her design intent or getting this across to her client. Her concept was to evoke a feeling of serenity with a minimalistic clean line scheme adding atmosphere and free flowing lightness to the space with the floating clouds and flowing textures. The inclusion of natural elements linking and margining the indoors with the outdoors. The placement of her elements needs a little bit more refinement but her ideas were all there and a true testament to a successful concept board illustrating design intent. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Ian Rawson -
Ian's presented his thoughts combining his inspirational images together with his document process diagrams to help his client visualise the space and his design concept. The references overlaid on top of his images are not all that necessary but great to see him referencing his images for future reference. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

Nyree presented quite a sleek and sophisticated concept board. Quite busy yet it is put together professionally just like the style she was hoping to achieve. Her description for her concept was extremely professionally and well written. She has expressed her ideas succintly and written in the third person narrative using appropriate design terminology. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Tess Paul -
Tess' concept board is a very creative interpretation where she has allowed various textural elements to be the star of her concept and the elements themselves as well as the dominating yellow create movement throughout, opening up the space to be quite rhythmic. An alluring energetic atmosphere quite suitable to her client. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Sara Catania -
Sara has produced a very professional arrangement of images heavily lined with raw exposed textures, a neutral colour palette and was hoping to create a 'modern day lake house' which she seems to have achieved quite well. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Andrea Taliana -
Andrea's concept was based around a male peacock and the vibrancy of the bird's colours heavily influenced her design concept and design solution. Just like the walls and space she has intended for her client, her board is harmoniously balanced. Terrific to see her mounting technique presenting her fabrics with a 'cushioned' mounting technique tucking in the edges and keeping it all very well contained and professional. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Sophie Devos -
Sophie has chosen an electric blue, plush greenery is all very relaxing, calming and neutrally complimentary to the space all the while being extremely sympathetic to the brief. She's outlined the sorts of colours, textures, surfaces, shapes and forms she envisages for the space all in support of her design concept. Wonderful arrangement with appropriate use of white scattered throughout her board as though they are separating her thoughts in a graphical way. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03-

 - Katrina Ness -
Katrina's earthy natural concept board is blanced and composed. It displays her concept in a tonality and textural way. She has evenly distributed and well proportioned elements, clean lines, high gloss and also natural elements to continue to mirror the minimalist space and form her concept. /LS

- Rahni Hays - Resubmission (after feedback)

The balanced composition of Rahni's board matches her elegant, clean lines with raw textures interwoven into her concept and is presented very professionally - a delight for any client. This was particularly pleasing to mark given this was Rahni's second attempt at her concept board and showing evidence of applying herself geared with improved skills and the benefit of my feedback. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Cassandra Kuzmanovic -
Cassandra's concept includes a neutralised colour palette with accents and pops of fresh colours. There are soft edges and subtle textural elements. The repetition of curvaceous elements provide rhythm and movement throughout the space in contrast to the existing linear space. The curves are in a way perhaps  influenced by the suggestion of elegance and almost as if they are a modern day take on the art nouveau style. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

- Stephanie Byrne -
Very evocative with wonderful earthy textural qualities clearly sympathising with the design brief. /LS

C3ID004B // Concept Board // Assessment 03

Krystle Cumming
Krystle has presented a concept board that clearly evokes elegance and clarity through the application of  a simple colour scheme. However, the delightful addition of irregular forms promotes for quirkiness and playfullness within the space. /KC
